Here’s one of the coolest iPhone accessories ever which could make your iPhone perfect!
With the latest iPhone models, Apple jumped into the “Bigger is Better” bandwagon the other smartphone manufacturers are riding since a couple of years ago! But, as screens get bigger, some users may find it difficult to comfortably reach every on-screen menu or button, especially while using the iPhone one-handed. And, even with the double-tap Rechability activated, some people may still find it hard to comfortably use their iPhone with only one hand.
This is where the Halo Back screen protector comes into the game. This magic screen cover not only protects your iPhone from scratches and high impact drops and, being extremely clear, allows you to enjoy the beauty of the Retina display, but also ads an invisible back button on the lower right side of your iPhone for easy usage and navigation through the menus. Check out the video to see it in action.
The Halo Back is in project mode at Kickstarter and already reached it’s funding cap. Delivery is scheduled for August 2015.
Either you’re a professional always on the road and you need to make a sales presentation, you’re a family guy who wants to enjoy some cool recorded videos on your iPhone, play a game on a big screen or watch a movie, or you’re at the office and you want to make a video conference call with your business partners or even with your buddies, a portable micro projector might be the best solution for you! Small, portable and lightweight enough to always carry them in your bag or laptop sleeve, pocket projectors have all chances to become your new best friend and help you better accomplish your work tasks as well as better enjoying those cool family moments recorded on your phone’s memory!
The Smartphone Pocket Projector from Hammacher is a one of these cool portable projectors designed to work with iPhone, Android smartphone and tablets, iPad, Windows and Mac laptops and desktops, home media players – basically any gadget that can output video signal via HDMI or VGA plugs. The pocket projector outputs 55 lumens and 720p HD resolution, sports an internal audio speaker for playing audio and video files, features a microSD slot and an internal media player which can play most audio and video formats, includes a MHL adapter for connecting compatible Android devices and it’s powered by internal rechargeable battery which allows around 1.5 hours of continuous projection on a full charge.
Bluetooth headsets are some of the most useful devices ever invented. Just think about it, hands free calls, Google Now and Siri voice interactions, live notifications and so on … yet most people around refuse to use them because of fashion reasons … “It looks bad!!!” they say!
Well let me hear you say that about the Motorola Moto Hint! The Hint is a tiny earbud that automatically turns on when is worn , it offers up to 10 hours of battery life (if you also consider the extra battery that comes with the charging case) and features the following Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR (enhanced data transfer rate) profiles: A2DP 1.3 (allows you to stream music from your smartphone); HFP 1.6 and HSP 1.2(call hands free functionality); AVRCP 1.4 (remote controller functionality for music, movies and so on); PBAP (interactions with your devices phonebook); GAVDP 1.2 (file transfers between devices).
Pretty impressive, isn’t it? And it also looks cool …
The Roambotics Jr. Is set to bring that future a tad closer! Jr. is an autonomous wheeled robot designed to patrol your home/office and act as a security camera, record audio and video footage, sync it to the company’s cloud and allowing you to watch it in real time on your PC or smartphone. The cool part about the Roambotics Jr. is that it has a 360 degrees recording field and, via the proprietary included software, is able to learn, understand and efficiently patrol a delimited perimeter avoiding furniture, obstacles, ground holes and pools. Not only that, but when it feels senses something fishy going around, the Jr. will send the owner notifications via the smartphone app or email.
Cool, isn’t it? A little wheeled Fido on steroids to help you protect your belongings and keep your family safe!
The Roambotics Jr. will be available for the consumer market somewhere in 2016. No pricing was announced yet, but make sure you bookmark this article as we will post additional info as soon as we get our hands on it.
This is one of the coolest ceiling lamps I ever saw! Designed by the Richard Clarkson studio, the Cloud artificially recreates bad weather in your own home! Don’t be afraid, the Cloud will not destroy your bellowed home with winds and rain, it only recreates the visual and audio effects of a thunderstorm! But it’s still cool! Check the video for a live demo!
Richard Clarkson‘s Cloud lamp uses motion detector sensors to personalize the show for the people in the room and syncs to your iPhone or Android smartphone via Bluetooth to allow you to stream and enjoy your favorite music during the thunderstorm! The Cloud comes for a whopping $3,360 US, but, if you had this amount disposable, you should totally get one right away!
With screens getting bigger and bigger and internet connections staying open 24 hours per day, your smartphone’s battery is no longer keeping the pace. I personally charge my own Android smartphone at least two times per day! Imagine that! The times you had to charge you Nokia 3310 only once a week are long gone, and will probably never come back!
While you could have a charger on you and charge your phone from time to time to hopefully end the day, this solution ties you to an electric wall or car outlet. A decent hybrid solution I found is to use a power pack iPhone case. This offers your fragile iPhone the much needed protection of a case while adding some extra juice to it’s battery life. The 3-in-1 iPhone Power Bank has a built-in 2,220 mAh rechargeable lithium polymer battery which will increase your battery life by 1.5 times (the regular iPhone battery has 1,440 mAh) as well as a back foldable pin which transforms the case into an iPhone stand.
