Bluetooth headsets are some of the most useful devices ever invented. Just think about it, hands free calls, Google Now and Siri voice interactions, live notifications and so on … yet most people around refuse to use them because of fashion reasons … “It looks bad!!!” they say!
Well let me hear you say that about the Motorola Moto Hint! The Hint is a tiny earbud that automatically turns on when is worn , it offers up to 10 hours of battery life (if you also consider the extra battery that comes with the charging case) and features the following Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR (enhanced data transfer rate) profiles: A2DP 1.3 (allows you to stream music from your smartphone); HFP 1.6 and HSP 1.2(call hands free functionality); AVRCP 1.4 (remote controller functionality for music, movies and so on); PBAP (interactions with your devices phonebook); GAVDP 1.2 (file transfers between devices).
Pretty impressive, isn’t it? And it also looks cool …
Smartphones are amazing. They’re our trusted companion where ever we go. They stay in our pockets, our bags, on the restaurant table or on the office desk, on the floor, the car dash … basically anywhere.
Did you ever think about the amount of germs that get in contact with your smartphone on daily basis?
For those of you who did think about it (and for those who did not think about it yet), today we’ll present the Smartphone sanitizer.
The smartphone sanitizer works with Violight bacteria-destroying UV light. Insert your smartphone into the specifically designed sanitizer recipient and in less than 5 minutes the UV light gets the job done.
The device can clean any smartphone brand (iPhone, Samsung, LG, HTC, Blackberry) and small devices (headphones, MP3 players, cell phone headsets, etc …) as long as they are within 3 x 0.8 x 5 inches (that’s 7.62 x 2 x 12.7 cm).
The M2 Open Ear Headphones by AfterShokz allow you to listen to your favorite music while always being attentive to what’s happening around you.
Here’s how it works – the headphones sit in front of your ear (not in the ear as most headphones on the market) and use patent pending bone conduction technology to deliver stereo sound through the cheekbones directly to your inner ear. While all this time, your ears are free and can easily capt any outside sound.
The AfterShokz M2 also feature an in-line microphone allowing you to make phone calls, they are more comfortable than earbuds and traditional headphones and offer more stability (think jogging in rough terrain…)
Bluetooth headsets evolved a lot from those bulky big ear hook pieces to the stylish little gadgets we buy today.
Although overall quality improved (battery, sound, microphones), the today Bluetooth headsets of today have the same issue they had since their begging – if you do not like to wear them (but you have to) you’re stuck keeping them attached to your ear, or put them in a pocket and break the ear hook or even damage the actual headset.
The O.R.B. Bluetooth headset is here to solve this issue. While in use, the O.R.B has an S shaped form attaching to the wearer’s ear. The headset is comfortable to wear and, given it uses bone conduction audio transmission technology, does away with the discomfort pf placing the device in your ear. While you’re not on a call, by twisting the O.R.B. you transform it into a ring and you can wear it on one of your fingers. The external part of the ring features an E-Ink display capable of displaying the date, time an the number calling you.
