Individual Use Helicopter Ready

Flying was the biggest humanity dream. While in the last century or so the aviation advanced incredibly, we are still lacking a reliable individual flight machine that can take us from home to work and shopping on daily bases.

Japan’s Hirobo might do it tough! This individual helicopter prototype might be ready for civil use by 2021 and it’ll first be used in emergency and disasters situations.

Powered by a fully electric motor minutes the Hirobo helicopter can fly with up to 60 mph (100 km/h) for about 30 minutes. Due to the electric motor, the personal helicopter will be a silent one, allowing an increased flight comfort as well as (when used in emergency recovery situations) easier spotting people in need of help.

The estimated cost announced is around $375,000.
So … how do you feel about it? Do you think air highways can become a reality? Let me know in the comments …
