Bygen Hank - The Collapsible Direct Drive Bike
The Bygen Hank Direct Bike proposes an innovative approach to classic space-saver folding bikes – a collapsible frame that slides back and forth based on the usage instance hooked-up to a direct drive system with pedals attached to the back wheel. The Bygen Hank bicycle is produced in Korea, weights less than 22 lbs (that’s less than 10KG), features a sliding carbon fiber frame which helps reducing its size when not in use, a foldable handle to make it even more compact and 20-in wheels. According to Bygen, the elimination of the bike chain results in 7-8% power increase at the same pedaling frequency.

ALSO CHECK the Transporter Commuter Bike With Trunk Wheel, the HMK 561Corbon Fiber Electric Bike and the Bicymple No-Chain Bike.

The Bygen bike will go on sale on the Korean market in October, with overseas release scheduled sometime after and will set you back a whopping $5,000 US (the price will probably lower as distribution widens).

Morpher - The Most Efficient Foldable Bike Helmet Around
Wearing a helmet while riding your bike has many advantages. Actually, it has only advantages as long as you wear it! The only issue of bike helmets is they are difficult to store and carry between rides.

Imagine you bike your way to school, you chain your bike o a light pole or to a bike parking space and you head to your classes. But wait … what about that bulky bike helmet hanging on your backpack?
Now you see what I mean?

Fear not, as always, we have your back covered! You can use an Overade Folding Bicycle Helmet we featured earlier, it’s a decent solution to save space between rides. Or you can do even better and use the new Morpher Helmet!
The Morpher Helmet sports a very interesting concept – rather than folding from front to back, it folds sideways allowing you to save more space than most helmets on the market! You can actually flatten the helmet and easily stash it in your backpack among your other gadgets or even in your laptop bag without even feeling you have it on you!
Amazing, isn’t it?

The Morpher successfully finished a crowdfunding campaign, it’s in production mode and you’ll be able to order it in the summer of 2014 via their website.

Helios - The Smart Bike Handlebars!
Helios is an impressive new bicycle accessory that aims to turn your bike into a connected “smart” bike.
The handlebar comes in two versions: The Bullhorn and the Drop Bar and sports a great kit of features designed to improve your biking experience: a 500 lumen LED light built-in the bar will help you light your way in the night, proximity sensor which will turn ON and OFF your bike lights based on your presence near the the bicycle, two back lights (positioned in the back-facing side of the handlebar) can be used for turn signals, visual speedometer (the light changes color based on your actual speed) and ambient lightning. As this was not enough, a low-power GPS unit in the handlebar will help you track your whereabouts, get turn-by-turn navigation instruction (the back-facing handlebar lights will let you know where to turn left or right) and track your bike in case it’s stolen (simply slide a SIM card into the handle and, by simply sending and SMS the bike will reply sending you a Google maps link with your bicycle’s location). How cool is that?
