With smartphone manufacturers focusing aggressively on increasing phone screen sizes and resolutions as well as pushing more and more new features that require our phones to always stay connected to the internet, no wonder no one I know is able to finish a full day on a single battery charge!
So what’s the solution? Well, some of us have a second charger at work, some carry a wall charger in our bags, some carry a power bank while other always have an USB cable on them and use any free USB plug they find around! Of course, you can get an a wall charger plug case or an extended battery iPhone case, but those aren’t the slickest and most beautiful cases in the world, aren’t they?
Here’s a cool alternative solution for this problem: the Quickie Pocket Charger. Designed in two versions (for iPhone and Android), Quickie is a 1050mAh power bank which fits in your jeans coin pocket and can to charge your iPhone or Android device at a rate of 2A. While getting an extra half charge might not seem much, it might be just enough to finish your day, and, giving the Quickie’s compact and portable format, I am sure it will come in handy when you’re out of juice and need to get some quick directions, place a call or check what your friends are doing on social media!
Quickie is in crowdfunding mode at Indiegogo and you can secure the iPhone or Android versions for an early bird price of $19 US.
