Ergonomic Portable Mac Stand In Pouch And on Laptop Top

Working on a laptop all day long it’s not an easy job. If you’re one of those professionals always on the go and the coffee shop around the corner is your preferred office, you must know how tiring and difficult for your body is to work countless hours in an uncomfortable position. While in a regular office you can use a laptop stand and external keyboards and mice to improve your working position, things are not that easy while on the road.

A while back we featured the Flio laptop stand which allows road warriors to improve their posture when working on the go. While the Flio is still our preferred portable laptop stand when not in the office, there are people out-there who need an en even more raised laptop position to ergonomically work in improvised offices. For those people, and not only, we present you the Roost Portable Laptop Stand.

ALSO CHECK the AViiQ Portable Ergonomic Laptop Stand and the Ridge Portable Laptop Stand.

The Roost was initially designed for 13″, 15″ and 17″ MacBook Pro laptops, but it’s also compatible with 13″-17″ non-Apple notebooks. A full list of compatible models is available here. The minimalist laptop stand is handmade in Detroit, US, it’s made of super-light Carbon Fiber and Delrin (the same material used in guitar picks), weights only 6.5oz (183g) and has a load capacity of 132+ lbs (that’s about 60kg).
The Roost raises your laptop screen about 10″ from the desk (that’s about 25 cm) and requires an external keyboard and mouse for usage.
