Made by The Task Lab, the same guys behind the TaskOne iPhone Multitool Case we featured earlier, the myTask Urban is a multifunctional iPhone case which allows you to always have handy a cool selection of mini-tools!
Made of strong red or black polycarbonate with a vibrant soft-touch coating the myTask Urban case is TSA compliant and features a sliding stash where all the tools are safely store while not in used. Once you slide down the hidden iPhone pocket cover you have instant access to a mirror, tweezers, a nail-file, scissors, a pen, a stylus, an 8GB USB drive and mini-led light for emergency situations. Cool, isn’t it?
Either you’re traveling, visiting a cool location or simply commuting from home to work, sometimes it’s you need to take a break and sit down for a couple of seconds! But many times that’s easier said than done! Many visiting sites are poorly equipped for breaks, and, when it comes to using public transport for commuting in rush hours, finding an empty seat in the bus it’s not an easy job neither!
This is where the BagoBago Backpack comes into the game! The BagoBago is a regular 22 liters backpack, it’s made of high quality waterproof materials and comes a large main storage space, a laptop compartment, a front pocket including a smartphone or wallet dedicated space and two side pockets for water bottles, newspaper or other gear. Pretty standard until now, isn’t it? Well, here’s comes the cool part about the BagoBago – it includes a built in stool! When not in use, the stool frame helps distribute the weight and and make the backpack more comfortable. When in use, well… the stool allows you to sit down on your backpack and rest, enjoy the view or have a more comfortable public transport ride! The BagoBago chair is built to support up to 285 lbs (that’s around 130 KG), sports 4 legs with rubber caps which are hidden by a washable cover when not in use and it’s flight-safe as it meets airline cabin luggage size restrictions.
More and more people change their desktop computers and go for portable notebooks everyday! Actually, with all the power available in modern laptops, I can barely imagine why would you go for a desktop … unless, of course, you work in those niches that require huge amounts of processing resources like video/audio editing, construction planning and architecture, 3D animation, gaming, etc …
Laptops are the perfect compromise – light enough to allow you to work from everywhere while packing just enough power to do your light office work, surf the net, check Facebook and Youtube or enjoy some light gaming. But there’s a hidden danger that comes packed in every laptop! And that danger is called “ergonomic working position” or better said “not ergonomic working position“!
And this is where gadgets like the 3-in-1 Laptop Stand Tube come into the game to help you enjoy the increased portability of a notebook while still keeping a healthy, ergonomic working posture. The Stand Up Stand is made of anodized aluminum and weights only 7.2oz (that’s 204.12gr) – just a tad heavier than the iPhone in your pocket, has an ingenious modular design which can raise your laptop to the perfect working height, transform it into a stand-up working desk as well as help you better interact and type on tablets and big smartphones. When not in use, the Stand Up Laptop Stand can be easily dismantled and stored inside it’s main component – the Tube – for easy transportation.
The 3 in 1 Stand Up Stand in a Tube is in project mode at Kickstarter and will set you back a reasonable $49 US. The project funding cap was already reached, which means the stand will safely be delivered in April 2015.
While everybody goes crazy with multi-purpose smartwatches that track calories, evaluate sleep and fitness and act as a handy interface for your smartphone, Leatherman decided to improve the classic good ol’ wristwatch in a different direction, by transforming it into a super-multi-tool ready to give you a hand when the situation requires it!
The Leatherman Thread QM1 Multi-Tool Watch is an interesting concept which combines a Swiss-made timepiece (quartz movement, rotating bezel, 200m water resistant, scratch resistant sapphire crystal) with Leatherman’s innovative Tread multi-tool bracelet. The wristwatch is TSA compliant (you can wear it in an airplane) and comes with an impressive warranty of 25 years. The Thread bracelet, the coolest part of the watch, it’s fully adjustable 9by adding or removing links), it’s made of 17-4 Stainless Steel and combines 7 unique pieces which contain not less than 20 individual tools – a cutting hook, a bottle opener, an oxygen tank wrench, a carbiade glass breaker, screwdrivers (1/4″, 5/16, 1/8, 3/32″ and #1 Philips), box wrenches (10mm, 3/8″, 5/16″), hex drive (1/4″, 3/16″, 5mm, 6mm), a #2 square drive, a 1/4″ socket drive and a pick/SIM card tool! Just imagine the possibilities!
The Leatherman Thread QM1 Multi-Tool Watch will be available for purchase in the Fall of 2015 and will set you back ~$500-$600 US.
Enjoy a camcorder-like video shooting experience with your iPhone by accessorizing it with the PoiseCam iPhone Camera Grip.
The PoiseCam Grip is designed to improve iPhone video recording by shooting better and more stable videos as well as allowing a more ergonomic and convenient shooting position. The PoiseCap not only allows you shoot better videos, but also comes with an internal tripod which works perfectly for attaching additional photo or video accessories such as tripods, external lights or camera stabilizers.
The PoiseGrip is currently available for iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5S/5C and, hopefully, will soon be available for iPhone6 and 6 Plus.
With so many choices around, getting the best stroller for your kid it’s not an easy job! Especially when you start searching Google for “Best Strollers” or “Coolest Strollers” and the most displayed results include almost exclusively concept strollers and custom made buggies which can not be purchased online or in brick-and-mortar stores!
This was one of the main reasons why we took the time to scrape the net, find the coolest strollers that can actually be bought and list them all on one page – apart the machine gun stroller in the main pic which was too cool to leave aside … sorry!!! Is our list the ultimate cool strollers list on the net? Well, probably not … we mainly listed strollers we found cool, strollers with good reviews and positive feedback from parents, strollers we would buy if we were in the situation of looking for a mean to transport our kids in style!!
While we asked for feedback and input from 7 parents to build this list, we are sure we missed some cool models – so feel free to submit (via the comments at the end of the page) any cool stroller we might have forgotten.
BONUS – While we were researching and asking feedback to find the best strollers around, we also got some suggestions for cool baby guide books and we listed them at the end of the post. Make sure you check them out in the post … we know how hard it is to get good parenting resources …
