Tablio Or How To Work Comfortably On Your Laptop Away From Yor Desk
Tablio Mini Desk Laptop Wooden Lap Desk With Mouse And Smartphone Space

Using a laptop anywhere else than on your desk can be a challenging task. Especially if you prefer using a mouse to the laptop’s integrated trackpad!|
Most times you can’t find the right position to be both effective and comfortable, while respecting basic ergonomics rules. More than that, working with your laptop on your lap (or on a pillow as I often see around) can seriously damage your computer the air-flow required to cool down your machine can be obstructed by the improvised “desk”.

Tablio is a bamboo laptop desk designed to address this issue and allow you to work/play away from a desk for multiple hours. The lap desk fits various laptop sizes ranging from 11″ to 15″ and features two retractable pads (one on each side) for your mouse and another gadget you need to keep an eye on. The main part, where your laptop sits, is well-ventilated by specially designed air channels k allowing an efficient cooling by air circulation.

Other than these, I need to mention that the Tablio works for both left and right handed users and, given it’s slick format form, lightweight bamboo construction  and retractable side pads, the lap desk is very portable and you can easily carry it with you in your laptop bag.

The Tablio is in project mode  on Kickstarter. Reserve your for an early bird price of $87 US (estimated delivery August 2014).
