Bluetooth iPhone and Android Tempo Monitor By BlueMaestro

Blue Maestro Tempo Bluetooth Environmental Monitor Features And Technical Specs

A while back we featured the Blue Maestro Tempo Monitor. Today, we’re back with news from Blue Maestro – they upgraded both the monitoring device as well as their mobile apps, making them even cooler!
For first, the monitoring device, which used to track only temperature, now also tracks barometric pressure stats as well as humidity info. On the software side, both Android and iOs apps got redesigned, making user interaction even easier.

The upgraded Tempo Monitor connects to your devices via low energy Bluetooth 4.0 and iBeacon for iOs gadgets, works up to 165ft (that’s 50 meters) distance, is water and weather proof (which makes in a perfect choice if you want to track outdoors stats), stores historical data for the last 30 days, allows temperature alerts triggered by high and low thresholds and has a battery life of around 12 months.

What I really liked about the Tempo is how simple the setup process is. Simply instal the free iPhone or Android app, turn on the monitor and wait a couple of second for it to automatically connect. That’s it, after a couple of seconds, the barometric pressure, temperature and humidity data starts to download on your phone and displays on the main dashboard.
The Tempo Monitor works locally via Bluetooth and, because of this, does not need to be hooked up to your wireless or wired internet network. Another cool feature is that the unit continues to monitor and track the setup parameters even if you’re not around, allowing you to download the recorded data as soon as you get into the Bluetooth range of the device. Available in white, black, gray and pebble (marble).
Cool, isn’t it? Check out the review video bellow and let me know your thoughts in the comments bellow.
