Shoe Lace

Mind blowing 3D body art by Japanese artist Hikaru Cho. The paintings are created with acrylic paint, and make the human body look like removed from a fantastic tale – zippers, shoe laces, plugs, cables, buttons – they all contribute to create this awesome 3D effect optical illusion.

  1. I'm looking for a tattoo to go over my low-spine surgical scar, and the 3D seems to catch my eye…

  2. Wow I think putting a tattoo there would really hurt. Just skin and bone and scar tissue. I know I don't have anything more than skin covering my spine where I had my surgery

  3. I like the shoelaces!! Maybe a bow!!

  4. I figure it can't hurt more than the surgery did…

  5. Shoelaces! Shoelaces! Shoelaces!!! :)

  6. Uh, hello people! These are NOT ink tattoos. They are created using body paint. It says so in the title. Sheesh!

  7. You're right Tina. I think a good inker could get close enough though ….
